The leadership with all decision making powers and stringent control over all functioning without allowing the subordinates to interfere, control, decision process -- i.e no voice in any organizational matters for the subordinates except for being obedient  for the masters' voice. In this style a lot good character-ed leaders are there and the same way on the other negative characters. They may require a change of style for its after effects but often occurs on a too late situation.

E.g. Some Excellent Doctors run hospital on this style: But we feel their autocratic leadership style everywhere in that hospital--but all including the patients are reluctant to opine on this aspect.  Sometimes they may also not knowing their style is like this..  This is a personal observation--sorry for the mistake if any.

Autocratic Leadership is a leadership style characterized by individual control over all decisions and little input from group members. Autocratic leaders typically make choices based on their own ideas and judgments and rarely accept advice from followers. This style is effective in emergencies and when absolute follower-ship is needed. This leadership style is also effective sometimes with new, relatively unskilled workers who need clear direction and guidance.
