Will become the means and promote the company's products tool
One single customer cannot be favorite, it is a collaborative approach. All customers should be on the same scale and must be provided quality service or product. Customer data can be collected by the feedback method or surveys.
My favorite customer is every customer that needs my product or service, whether he knows that or not.
Surveying the general public is common practice for most businesses and organizations that have a wide-sweeping customer base. Usually, respondents are invited to complete online surveys through an invite link provided at the end of receipts or through an online invitation (email, or a company website). Typically, these surveys are created with the purpose of gaining feedback from the public on a company or its products, but can also be non-customer related in order to gain information on people’s behaviour, knowledge, or opinions on a certain issue.
A general public survey will give you a broad understanding of the public and is a great starting base for your research. Also the mass availability of the general public to answer your survey will lower the cost of incentives or purchasing responses.
However, the benefits of a general public survey come with a few disadvantages. First, most people will be disinterested in completing your survey, making the attention span of your respondents limited. Second, without including any requirements for your sample group (age, education, income level, etc.), it will be hard to segment your findings into more actionable insights.
Tips:
• Incorporate Demographics –Demographic questions will provide more valuable research findings and allow for segmenting respondents into groups. Ask respondents to provide their age, gender or any other descriptive that you would like to measure your data against.
• Keep it Simple –Terminology and phrasing should be easy to understand and straightforward. These respondents are not experts, so ask questions that people with no experience in the field can give their opinion on.
• The Shorter the Better -Keep survey length under15 minutes and create questions that require little effort or time on the respondents part
My favorite customer is the educated customer, that knows the value of the product or services that I present to him. collecting customer data base depends on your own business, some business has niche market & customers, some are not.so, it depends & always use all channels that u have, internet, direct ads. & the most important channels ur own network.
. Hi Venkitaraman,
Good evening. Firstly I thank you for giving me opportunity to answer. In my opinion, it depends on the need and goal of business, whether you want to start up or you are willing to grow. In former interest, you should target those customer who had shown the interest in your competitors product. In the later interest, you should target those customer who are capable to buy or willing to buy the same product. In business your every customer is favorite and prospect one.
In regards Tips for collection of data:-
You've to take care certain factor before deal with collection of data.
1. Time constrain you do have for collection of data as well as analyze it.
2. Cost for the project which is very crucial factor for every data collection and analysis.
3. Available resources likes man force, tools to analysis data etc.
For data collection, if you do have sufficient budget then dealt with agencies which collection data but it require data sanitization check as well as monitoring too. If budget is constrain then go for other means like you can sent your team members for collection of data or select today's very favorite tool, internet for example send questioner via emails.
In whole study you have to be careful with drafting of questioner it has to be so prudently drafted so you will get realistic answers to your questions and if possible read the articles on interest for study conducted for same projects which will give you basic insight and path.
