The cost of employing women in management is greater than the cost of employing men. This is a jarring statement, partly because it is true, but mostly because it is something people are reluctant to talk about. A new study by one multinational corporation shows that the rate of turnover in management positions is21/2 times higher among top-performing women than it is among men. Women bring a different perspective and passion than men do to the job. Women think differently than men, which is also very helpful when it comes to problem solving. Women are usually more gentle and polite towards customers. They have a tendency to be flexible and also have the patience to deal with different problems referring to any department as an HR. Having a woman as a customer agent is more efficient because she is indeed more responsible, has the patience to listen carefully to the complaint of the customer, and has the ability to rapidly find a solution pertaining to the problem arose. Moreover, if an angry customer is being attended by a woman, she will not make any critics and will never argue with the angry customer. Instead she will welcome and attend the client with politeness not to make him out of control compared to a man that could easily revert back to the customer in an angry way. Women are not really short tempered as man and the can control their emotion whilst working with customers. Furthermore, as a customer agent, a woman is moreefficient and also beautifies the atmosphere. The gentle and attractive character of a woman definitely attracts customers and also encourage customers to make their complaints as this give them the assurance that a responsible customer service officer will definitely look into the matter and solve their problems within a given time limits. Most women do revert back to their customers compared to men who are not usually considered as reliable while dealing with customers.
COmpanies prefer females in the field of HR and Customer Service because female employees have a more "human touch" as a soft skill.
I've worked with an women-team, and they (or we) are proven to follow-through each work- one that needs constant follow-up and monitoring- until the transaction is closed or resolved.
