I feel better when I create a new customer who was never interested in the products nor in the company I am representing. Customer of competitors are usually interested in the product but you need to make him get interested in your company. In the first, there is more challenge.

Besides, I usually leave customers of competitors for later times where I feel the chance is small to create new customers.

As Salesperson , I like to win new customers, there are like bees coming to a honey.

 

but if by chance , it is a great reward if you win competitors customers.  Take note the aim of the business is to get the biggest market share, to stand out among the best you must be competitive in the market.
