What things or points you will keep in mind while outsourcing the service contracts ?

Ask the following questions and find answer to them.

• Are my resources being utilized effectively?
• Are my current resources capable of supporting new technology?
• Is there a quicker, more effective method to handle processes?
• Does my team have the operational expertise to do the task assigned?
• Are we working at optimum costs?

Agreed with Mr. Venkitaraman. Please ensure whether there is no regulatory restriction on outsourcing those activities; if the service provider is from overseas then regulatory approval is mandatory. The MoU should clearly state about the data protection and non disclosure agreement about customer information. All original documents should be available to the local / regulatory auditors during inspections
