Weak sales person needs to be trained on several occasions , Face to face with trade or with promotion within several consumers Q&A with different ideas and thinking styles.

I feel fresh salesmen should be part of their training to break ice with them to stand on promotion and to learn that he will face trade with different styles.

When offer or promotion selling is in the offing customers may tend to move for bargain buys and forget about many deficiencies in quality of  personalized services. An alternative as a last  and only choice when there is weak personalized selling skills and stock are in abundance especially in case of consumer items.

One way to offset weak personal selling in retail product is by creating informational brochure and pamphlets, containing all the required information of the product. By this atleast the customer would be asking fewer questions from the sales people !!!

Sales promotion is really give a good profit for offset week in personal selling in retail products coz in that way we visit more people and approach customers in best war where they can listen, understand the benefit of products and deal. More people u meet more sale u get nd more sale happen we get profit more.
