Real meaning for the business should be 'Earning Profit'. If your profit is good as expected, you can provide jobs, your passion will improve and even think of service to mankind.
What ever you do is your business. There is no hard & fast rule to it. sometimes we say "mind your own business" there it means only your work which may be for profit or it might not be for profit. So I go with5. MIXTURE OF ALL .
Good Question
Though Ms shagufta zafar has mentioned the the right answer.
It is good that you do 'Based on your Passion & what you are interested in'. The main criteria would be to run an 'Profitable & Growth Oriented business'.
Only when you have your business which is not only generating profits but has ample opportunities to growth, than it also means you are going to hire lot of people to run the company as you are selling the products to thousands of satisfied customer's"Satisfaction itself is service".
Also with the profits earned you can also involve with your CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) thus helping people in need or building a community (It itself is nothing but direct service to Mankind)
:-)
Doing business means It is for : EArning Profit.
But a good business man will integrate all good aspects to make it meaningful and committed to the society.
If it is business then it is for making money by earning profit. However, all the other factors are also fulfilled when the business is started.
1. EARNING PROFIT
1.EARNING PROFIT
Motives, we are talking business here.
I would say Option 5- Mixture of all.
Whenever somebody starts a business, his ultimate objective is to make handsome money out of it. Later, as the time goes, sensible businessmen develops passion and social responsibility in them and do everything you mentioned.
