How do I make my weekly sales team meeting more productive and effective?

Instead of having one way communication, make it open medium of communication, encourage sales team to ask relevant questions, problems faced, their experiences... Thus, as sales person are considered the 'Eyes & Ears of Market' thus are vital source of information & as market place has not only become more & more competitive but also dynamic thus having open flow of communication will make everyone involved, understands what others are facing, how to tackle such issues & also know the best way to solve it...:-)

At the beginning of each week conduct a regular meeting.

>>>Get feedback on the relevant issues during the last week.

>>>Suggest remedial measures incorporating their suggestions.

>>>Provide the required support after evaluating the effectiveness of the suggestions submitted.

>>>Make sure that the weekly targets are achievable and genuine.

>>>Motivate and recognize achievements.

>>>Encourage shared efforts to achieve overall targets.

>>>Gain market information through different sources and share the relevant information among the sales team.

>>>provide a10 weeks moving average report every time and encourage them to grow the moving average each time, the report itself reinforce an energy in them to maintain and achieve the improved figures next time.  It will also encourage to take more initiative.

>>>I hope more expert answers will come from the sales professionals.
