Why customers leave? it's a very important question, and the success or failure of a company lies on that question.
Let share some very valuable information with you.95% of the unhappy customers leave without without making a complaint, or letting you know went wrong.
That leaves only5% of the customers who stick to their rights and make a complaint with your company.
Have you ever lost any customers? Has it ever make you wonder what happened to them, and where in the world they gone? Now, the question is why do the customers leave? A lot of smaller companies, which rapidly rise on the top the ladder forget their humble beginnings and start treating their customers like dirt.
When you disrespect your customers95% of them leave without letting you know.
The quality of your service/product drops, and you don't offer any consolation to your customers.
You jack up the price more than your competition, without rationalizing this raise.
Your customer service becomes rotten, an you simply don't care.
You don't have a good sales manager, and you don't have a sense of marketing.
Your staff uses profanity in front of the customers, and you enjoy it.
You don't seem to care about the customer sensitivity.
I think these are enough reasons for the customers to drop you.

Your customers will stay with you only if: 1.

You are able to be cost effective, not necessary cheap but provide a better ROI / ROE.

Structured and monitored Interaction between staff at levels.

Most importantly Show your customers You Care! Thoughts:  80% of your business comes from20% of your customers, Your Customer are low hanging fruits in your garden, make sure you take care of your garden and your harvest will be in abundance.

Lack of marketing strategy is a big gap, correct.
Reason for that is the huge growth the region are facing in which making business care less for reaching out to the consumers and relaying on the huge demand.
yet i must state that consumers in the UAE for example are picky and they do leave for poor customer service or lack of satisfaction from several factors such as long queuing, long waiting to be served, lack of rest areas, lack of family accommodating space, price sensitivity and lack of training to sales reps and in many cases lack of friendliness of staff.
