1-Reduced amount of oil reaching the bearing and direct contact occurring between the metals and thus temperature rises sections leading to melting bearing alloy. 2- If it happened discharge electrical charges through the bearings burning occurs in the alloy bearings.
it often happens in the generator bearing (as aresult of eddy currents when an error occurs in the discharge device)
