A sales or Marketing professional should be a great Critic of the team as well the motivator ..Thus, wrong practices would be abolished & all measures will be able to measure qualitative & quantitative way.
Not just the numbers (Or Target) but an high esteemed & responsible is also responsible for maintaining the profitability. Thus, he should be very strong in Numbers, costing. Thus, must have high ability of Analytic skills.
All decisions taken should not be biased & stereotyped but Rational or Non-Judgmental thus able to ethically justify such decisions.-- Thus, must be an Rational Thinker & leader
The approach of an Individual should be Optimistic in nature thus would be able to differentiate, able to derive an opportunity out of an problem & "Never Give Up" attitude will be in-built due to this approach.
