How can you manage staff without being bossy manager?

For me is all what I am doing is... I put my self to their pocket just sounds like that, to know them get their sympathy and capture their hearts because not all the time is rules will lead but also how to be on their self to understand them on that way they will grab your attendtion.. other wise id "different strokes for different folks" but still apply a proffessionalism take a bit of gap on them..
