As a recruiter do you avoid hiring job seekers who have been out of work for a while?

Youngster's take care of: The gap between two employment is kept at low preferably3 months maximum. 

In other cases maximum gap of6 months.

[That is what i feel and think to be correct]

Hi Fida, what you saying may be a valid point to recruit a person but most important is the skill set nd out of box ideas used in the previous job roles. Employees should be hired for thr skill nd traits rather than the stability/continued job role as it can be any reason for the doubt highlighted by you. An innovative person is amazin to boost a development stage of a company to unexpected level. The hiring should be situation based.

it depends on the period how long they have been out of work, but generally there is no reasons to avoid such candidates.

Normally employers do or its considered to be an important but i personally don't feel any justification in neglecting a deserving candidate just because he/she has been out of job for a certain time.
