How many layers are in the TCP/IP protocol?

There are Five layers in TCP/IP before it was4 but now they updated with5

1.Transport Layer

2.Network Layer

3 Application Layer

4. Physical Layer

5. Internet Layer

TCP/IP has five layers.
Application, TCP/UDP, IP, Datalink, Physical.

TCP/IP protocols map to a four-layer conceptual model known as the DARPA model , named after the U.S. government agency that initially developed TCP/IP. The four layers of the DARPA model are: Application, Transport, Internet, and Network Interface. Each layer in the DARPA model corresponds to one or more layers of the seven-layer Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.

Figure1.1 shows the TCP/IP protocol architecture.

layer1 (Network Access)

Layer2 (Internet)

Layer3(Transport and Some time people called Host-To-Host)

layer4 (Application)

There are four layer in TCP/IP Model. From top to bottom : Application Layer, Host-to-Host Layer, Internet Layer & Network Access Layer.
