Purchase Requisition is more of an internal document used within the company to provide a record that there is a need to purchase a certain amount of invetory. This is not legally binding and is not communicated to the suppliers. This document is verified for accuracy by the concerned stakeholders within the company approved and then forwarded to the Purchase Order writing team. The Purchase Order is a legally binding documnent which is provided to the supplier by the company stating the willingness to buy a certain quantity of product from the supplier.
