Have regular meetings with staff. Advise the team about what is going on in the department so they feel involved. Ask staff members to share about what is going on with their projects and what changes they would like to

Staff:

It is essential that your staff is motivated and respect you that is they view you as their leader. In order to achieve that you need to praise them when they get the things done right, particularly when task you gave them is strenuous. Apart from this you need to tell them that by working hard it is us who will be praised because of positive impact on company and this shall result in best rewards given to us by Allah. Never tell them off for browsing through internet to their hearts content, particularly when they don't have to do much.

So you need to call meeting with your team members tell them that we have to perform lets say audit of a branch; where controls seem week, in two days . Tell them the way of doing things clearly and be in contact with them constantly, asking for reports and stressing that this audit shall help improve revenue generation and that your name shall appear on list of most praised workers. Thus in order to manage project you need to clearly communicate the purpose, impact and way of doing it to your staff and impress upon them that it's effective completion shall reward you.
