Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to advance their career. Both finance and accounting ensure that you have a career that will provide you with employment opportunities well into the future.

For me anyone of the two option is good.

Practically both provide knowledge in the field of finance.  To become a real professional in Finance; Accounting knowledge is a must.  Better to go for Accounting and take additional MBA in Finance.
