Analytics, and statistics, in general are most important. All of us has data. It is raw information, and useless if not categorized and reported. Data becomes information after processing, and the analysis of this information helps me know where I stand, what to do, what is lacking or how to plan. It is all about metrics and measures. For example, how would I know where my salary grading stands in comparison to market, or what is my employment cost?
