ICDL would give you general knoledge about ICDL. But parcticing what you need is what would benifite you!
For example, I did take ICDL, I only needed excel and outlook. After this kind of general knowledge, it helps me to develop my skills in excel in really good ways.

It is is a good starting point for gaining basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. However, to achieve full proficiency, consider additional specialized courses focused on Microsoft Office. These courses delve deeper into specific applications and features, allowing you to enhance your expertise

ICDL will not give you full knowledge on Microsoft Office applications, you need to have other courses.

The ICDL  "the International computer driving licence" is a good start but i believe it gives you the basicknowledge you need to use MS office. So i think you will need more MS office specialised courses to have a full knowledge of microsoft office applications.

I do not think so, ICDL is a faster knowledge of Microsoft Office package to know the basic features which make you able to use, edit, print, etc..

It does not focus on the deep and detailed knowledge, it is only an overall study put you on the stair.
