If you're a professional teacher it's dependent on the type of learners. I mostly advocate for learner centered approach which calls on the teacher to be more of a facilitator than the vocal point. This calls for thorough planning where you also apply multi sensory approach to learning. Problem solving approach can't be ignored either for learners to relate the knowledge to be learnt and how practiical it can be used to solve the societal malaise and still yet to unleach their potential, and attain their aspiration.

Teaching to secondary students presents a challenge for teachers whose primary objective is to provide a fresh approach to traditional teaching strategies. Teachers should develop student-centered, writing-enriched and literature-focused classrooms that promote literacy.
