Writing English is more important to me because once you know how to write, speaking it will follow naturally.

Both are necessary... In some cases Writing a good English is more important then speaking e;g. When you are writing a specification , Requirement document , business case , report writing.

Some time speaking is more important then Writing e;g When you are presenting your case , presenting requirement to team members, clarify requirements to other person, gathering requirements

Well for me writing is also important but the more important is speaking because when you can speak it is easy for you to write. There are so many people who knows how to write but could not utter to speak clearly whilst people who speak English fluently can write well. Communication comes first in speaking, long time ago people don't know how to write but they can communicate thru communication of speaking.

Writing English is important because if you know how to write same way you can speak
