Depends what market you're in and what segment is being targeted. Price reductions are not always the answer unlike price increase. I'd say increase the price on your product and then reinforce with better value and better service.

You can take the edge by emphasizing on your product with strong operational support and services. cause most of the customers want swift operation and you can translate it in to continuous profitability.
