Employee serving notice period must deliver all his duties till last working day as a professional with responsibility & integrity however any policy decisions must be referred to the assigned successor or superior with necessary recommendations. The cordial relationship is of paramount importance, transparently sharing all business information proactively. Prepare a current status report with action taken and to be taken with recommendation and justification and important alerts datewise in such a way that successor & superior won't face any challenges due to any possible ambiguity otherwise. Hassle free transition of job role to the successor is the responsibility of employee serving notice period. Remember parting off professionally does not mean that part off personally. As a professional one must ensure the best relationship with all including ex-colleagues and ex-management.
