What is the advantage of teaching in multicultural society?

As the time spent on travel between countries has become markedly shorter with the introduction of newer and faster means of transportation, the number of people migrating from one country to another has iany multicultural increased dramatically. A multicultural society can be defined as a society or group of people from various backgrounds and ethics. In determining whether a multicultural society has more advantages or disadvantages, both sides of the argument need to be examined. These arguments include tolerance and respect and cultural exchange.In any multicultural society, the degree of tolerance and respect plays an important role in dtermining whether a muticultural society is an advantage or otherwise. The presence of tolerance in a society amongst members of different backgrounds and ethics can ensure a stable political situation as well as a stable economy, as members of the society do not merely respect each other but also value peace amongst themselves. This enables the society itself to cultivate friendship amongst members of different cultures and helps the country grow and prosper. However, no society is perfect in addition there is the temptation of greed and selfishness. The lack of tolerance within a multicultural society undeniably brings disadvantages to society. The differnces in culture amongst members of the society are among the main reasons why many wars commence. Society becomes oppressed or even rebellious in an effort to `claim back' the rights which they deem to be theirs but have perceivably been lost. The commencement of wars or even minor hostilities resulting from a lack of respect can brinmg about disastrous results to the country and the society itself.
