What does an SEO-Data Analyst do?

SEO specialist and Data analyst are two different jobs. However, I see that in come countries, there is SEO Data Analyst who might combine both jobs together. But I like to know how both jobs can be a combined job that uses both skills.

SEO has a lot to do with data analysis. Google Analytics, or any other Analytics for that matter, gives you data which tells you how your SEO campaign is doing.

 

These data, especially for big sites can be a huge set of data. There comes into play the data analyst who process these raw data to understandable and manageable, actionable as well, for the decision makers.

 

The Marketing VP doesnt have time to analyse a huge set of data himself, he needs to know some percentages, some numbers. Data analysts do the number crunching, gathered by the analytics, to present a polished and readily actional set of data.
