The decisive factor is the proficiency to work
No difference
May reach retirement age and you are the best
And may come to be a young man is the best
Unfortunately, age discrimination abounds. Out of my own personal experience, I firmly believe that many employers trash your CV once they get to know you are over45 years of age. The older you get as a job seeker, the harder it becomes to land a job. Not only are you filtered out by the applicant tracking system, but many job ads specify that job applicants exceeding45 years of age can not apply. It is blatant discrimination and ill-founded bias. No matter how qualified you are or what experience you have, many employers are prompt to toss your CV in the garbage bin because of your age. A vexing and bitter truth, you more than bet it is.
No age should not be a factor as long as that person has the experience and knowledge to do what is expected and beyond. I agree with Hanna above, age discrimination is one of the leading reasons why people over the age of45 are unable to land a position in their field of expertise.
Of course experience excel
