ONLY FOR ME
I USE AUTOCAD2015
IT`S VERY GOOD FOR DESIGN AN WORKSHOP
Revit is the best software than AutoCAD
Revit is a parametric building modeler. This means that when elements are modified in the program adjacent / connected elements will update accordingly to maintain an established relationships.
These parametric relationships are one of the biggest advantages of the software and BIM process.
Some other Advantages are also mention below.
· Reduce the errors and inconsistencies the model.
· More time to focus on designing.
· Easy to make changes.
· Excellent rendering capabilities, including using the clouds (Autodesk360)
· Integrated vies, such as schedules and legends.
· Various analyzing capabilities.
Revit is AutoCAD. Revit is purely3D and based (depending on the package you buy) on especially3D architectural, structural or mechanical.
What you want to do with it defines your choice, If you want to work in a BIM environment you need Revit
I have heard of Revit, however never worked with it ... I only know that it is an AutoDesk product, therefore I can not give you any answer to your question...
I wonder if they just renamed the software AutoDesk purchased from Intergraph in2005/2006.. if this is the case than the software is superior to AutoCAD
I found a free trial site....
www.autodesk.co.uk/products/revit-family/free-trial Try out a free Revit download. Revit helps you to design, build and maintain higher-quality, more energy-efficient buildings.
I agree with Mr. Shakeel answer ...thank you
