Why the HR department more interested in fresh mind young and needed to be taught Guest Relation officers
then in good skills and strong mind professionals with knowledge of problem solving, client service experience and having professionally respectable by hotel guests look?
Isn't a real problem solver - woman after30 with good experience in a problem solutions, kind voice, trusted look?
(even by psychology - when you are looking for advice or you want to be understood you will come to your old mother then young pretty girl in a shirt skirt)
Younger people have a certain entertaining freshness; it makes customers feel in control specially if they seem to know more than the employee. Also young girls are more attractive and they moves are more light with less “thoughts” than the experienced, people usually think it is a sexist thing and it should not happen. But if you use a realistic approach you will never buy the 30 day old roses but will always prefer the fresh catted. Experienced "problem solvers" should not interact with customers but guide younger "problem solvers" to do it from behind a desk and handle the tough cases in order to teach.
THE HR IS INTERESTED IN FRESH YOUNG GIRLS THEN IN RESPECTABLE PROFESSIONAL WITH EXPERIENCE OF PROBLEM SOLVING BECAUSE THE GUESTS FIND THEM MORE ATTRACTIE AND THE LADIES ARE IN THE BEST POSITION TO MARKET THE PRODUCT ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY
In my charge that I have I m looking for young people for they energy.When I mean young I'm saying abou an age until 40.
i think the problem is to find the right person for the right job.
Guest relations is not an easy job,you must be attentive to everything and first of all to the costumer front of you.My experience in South America says that young people under 30 they are not prepair to be under pressure,when older of 30 they are more prepair to be under pressure from a guest.I think this has to do with your environment too.
if I think my self as an untisatisfiet guest,I m looking for someone older that will understand my petition in one word,when the younger I will have to explain it more than 2 times to get my point of view..

If to prefer fresh young girls, the logic is: Chance for problems are less for many reasons.
Fresh young girls looks pleasant with beautiful smile always- less chance for problems.
They tend to respect the guest of any group, mostly- Psychology.
Young people will have fresh approach to handle guests.
Guests are more comfortable with youngsters, comparetively. Ego wont wrkout mostly.
Guests will be polite as well, to youngsters, and mostly to girls. Even the guests compromise to a certain extent, they are aware that the next level will be handled by some aged or experienced people. And they wont hang on with problems more.
More over, they are "Fresh and young".
Its to give the young ones also a chance of employment. As most jobs doesn't give place for the freshers, they always prefer experienced and graduates for employing.
