I agree with all the previous answers.

You are able to protect formula's, and specific rows and columns.

You may hide columns or rows, and once the sheet is protected by "Sheet Structure", users will not be able to review hidden columns or formulas.

The more drop-down selections there are for users, the more accurate the data sheet and more consistent the data will be.

My personal favourite; hide formulas with in a specific cell and row; which you are unable to hide the entire row or column by using CUSTOM FORMAT  ;;

BUT the worksheet must be structure password protected, otherwise the cell will get over-written.

You can hide an Excel sheet, but users can unhide it just as quickly. If you want a more securely hidden sheet, hide it in the Visual Basic Editor (VBE).Fortunately, the technique is simple for you -- and users won't suspect a thing.

**1** The traditional method for hiding a sheet:

1-Open a new workbook.

2-Click Sheet's tab to select it.

3-From the Format menu, choose Sheet.

3-From the resulting submenu, choose Hide. Excel hides Sheeet* and its tab

**2**hide it in the Visual Basic Editor

1- Switch to Excel's VBE (press [Alt]+[F11]).

2-In the Project Explorer, select the sheet you want to hide.

3-In the Properties window, select2 - xl Sheet Very Hidden from the Visible property's drop-down list.

select particular cells to lock then go to worksheet then right click then
