There are many processes controlled by fuzzy controllers. What kind of processes that do not need fuzzy controllers for their controlled variables?

For PID controllers, engineers and designers need to have a good understanding and expertise on the mathematical behavior of the plant. On the contrary, for Fuzzy logic controllers, engineers and designers do not need to know the mathematical behavior of the controlled process.
