Each country’s professional accounting bodies have the system of peer review (i.e. to audit the audit firms by another audit firms) with a view to improve the financial accounting and reporting, quality of audit practice and to provide the credibility.

Audit Company are subject to review in accordance with the law like any other company in accordance with the law and, of course, will take an external auditor to review whether other auditing firm, professional office in the audit

Auditing firm is audited by the entity who give it auditing certificate.

All Audit Firm must be registered by a Professional Body like ICAEW , ACCA  in UK  and all audit firm must be follow the rules and regulation of the Professional Body. If the fail to maintain the rules and regulation the their registration will be cancelled . So the audit firm is controlled and audited by the professional body of the country .
