In my opinion, the shifting factories to rural areas has more ADVANTAGES & it seem to be a very favourable idea as it will create a large number of job opportunities for the rural youth and reduce urban migration to a great extent.
Hence, the minor DISADVANTAGES (if any) should not prevent any country from going ahead with this policy.
It is true that some nations encourage companies to transfer from urban to local areas by the government. Although there are some drawbacks, I would argue that there are more benefits.
However, on the other hand the negative side of this development can not be overlooked and we should give enough thought as well. Indeed relocating industries will have some positive impact but industries will have to cope with a number of various factors in less developed areas such as security, lack of transportation, appropriate infrastructure to setup an industry and scarcity of communication channel. As a result companies and government would have to spend a good amount of money to setup these means even before starting the business and this is what most companies would not come to terms with. Besides this connectivity and client visit will also not be a piece of cake and can cause enough problems
On the other hand, there are more advantages of moving the industries and businesses outside of primary cities. Firstly, industrial plants always produce emissions, which do harm to individuals' physical health. We can see that some research institutes have proved that those live close to the industrial zone within ten kilometers have a much higher risk of getting cancers. Secondly, workshop building takes up vast areas of land while its land use efficiency is extremely lower. Meanwhile, each square in the big cities are as precious as gold. Thus, it is economic for factories to set up new workshops in the remote area. It also benefits consumers due to the decline of production cost. Lastly, labor market in the regional areas will boost. More job opportunities will be given to the poor live in the rural thereby improving their living standards.
In conclusion, it seems to me that the benefits of relocating huge industrial companies in regional zones such as more available job opportunities, reduce labor costs and locations to businesses, and minimizes pollution in the atmosphere do outweigh the disadvantages.
the reasons for such movements are as follows:
1. To reduce pollution in the cities
2. To minimize the effects of possible industrial accidents
3. To create jobs for the rural people
4. To facilitate the rapid development of the rural areas
5. to reduce cost in terms of cheap labour in rural areas
Advantages: Big city have crowd population, where social activities and other kind of joyful attractions run almost round the clock. Such kind of situation attract more job seekers prefer to work in any factories or industries situated in or near the big cities. The more the workers, the more the spenders, meaning that, the higher the revenue gain for the big city. Not to forget, the owners of the concerned factories and the industries as well on the advantage side, since they never worry to lost their employees although their salaries are lower than the other factories and industries workers situated far from the big city.
Disadvantages: Industries and factories have potential hazards, and the worst parts is, if its deal with oil & gas business. Potential hazards can be considered as a “Time Bomb”. Any careless mistake, can trigger chains of vast disasters without warning, and once it happen, he whole big city and its populations will be shattered and flatten to the ground covered with massive fatalities and the only left behind are those who are in serious injuries and the luckiest one are those who stay in permanent disabilities.
Moving all factories and industries from the big city to the far remote area is extremely expansive, but the most super highest extreme cost is the above mentioned disasters if it does happen, because it’s not only have the power to declare the factories and the industries owners as bankruptcies but as well put them all behind bar.
Moving factories from big cities to rural areas is not effective when there is no change is inefficient processes and practices leading pollution and use of low cost unskilled labor for sophisticated jobs.
its only the face saving and take out benefits as rural areas population not aware as metropolitan cities citizens are,.
if you Focus only on advantages,
Your health in city will be better,
Rural employment will increase.
Industry may be nearer to the source of raw materials etc etc
Thank you guys to given me very suitable answers.
Advantages
1, Avoiding the industrial Pollutions
2. Reduce the public traffic
Disadvantages
1,long travel
There are certain advantages and disadvantages to both aspects
the former is lesser pollution and disturbance to normal city life style, like lesser waste products being dumped inside the city, less health hazards ,etc
the latter option adds extra transportation and logistics price. On other hand moving firms from one place to another requires a huge budget.
advantages.
easy movement for transportation,
Clean environment
Out of Noise
easy to store the products
Disadvantage,
waste of time in transportation
difficult for searching manpower
communication waste
Development becomes inclusive and mainstreamed. This democratizes development and whole population feels empowered. At the same time jobs get generated and new ideas in construction, architecture and other types of engineering emerge.
