During my work in Hotels (Hospitality/Tourism) -3 years I got more appreciation, contacts, visit cards, positive feedback than in Advertisement Client Service (more then10 years)...Probably the Customers and Guests can appreciate you more for your time, assistance, help, problem solving, attention because you are helping them individually and its concerns them individually... In case of Client service (company)... as far from the Head Chair of company your contact person (client) is located as less "Thank you" words you will get...

both Customer and client:
1. Customer : Service exclusively for customer.
2. Client : when customer gets satisfied eventually the client too.

The Client satisfaction is always a reflection of the customers' satisfication
And it's always easier to get the end-user's satisfaction1st and the client satisfaction would be a normal consequence
