Can you give me any advice for my career in accounting?

be always aware of new accounting processes , be good in excell, knowledge of any accounting software is a plus, know how to extract data, be accurate in your  numbers, be organised,  learn how to find discrepancies just by viewing

Four things in my opinion can help you to improve your skills
1- Knowledge about Accounting standards (IAS, IFRS)2-More and more practice on MS Excel
3- Learn Basic Accounting Soft wares
4- Discuss your queries with your seniors Enhancing professional studies will be an added advantage

Accounting is now depending on computer.
You should be generally aware of computer sciences, and have a well knowledge of Excel.
You should have a start regardless of the salary to have at least two years experience, experience is your real certificate.
You also need more study, specially ACCA or CMA.

Learn the subject well by practicing a lot.
Use the exercises in your books as practice.
Then choose a career line.
Do you want to be a financial accountant or management accountant? Getting certification after completing your studies can help improve your chances.
For example, you can try to get CFA certification or CMA or CPA, or ACCA, etc.
You may need to take a course to enable yourself to pass the required exams.
Taking the course at one of the big four companies can help you advance in your career.
During your course you may even be able to impress the company (by your abilities) and get an internship.
Getting an internship with an established firm will also bring positive results to your career.
Finally, put your best effort and you'll reap good results.
oh yes, and learning accounting software is also necessary as it is required a lot.

You must go with CMA. Its so popular now a days among Accounting Professionals & then many certifications and examptions will be there for you....:)

now a days Career in Accounting it self does not give any wight it should supported with Computer skill, Taxation, Budget, costing , Audit,Portfolio management, Financial analysis,Administration or at least little bit of Sales & Marketing then there will be strong position in your Acccounting Career to develop your self

The basic fact underlying any successful endeavor is hard work. You must work very hard. Do all it entails to get professional qualification. Try to the best of you ability to excel in accounting software application. Be proactive and explicit. Ensure minimization of error(s) occurence in your work and try to comprehend whatsoever is difficult to you trough inquiry from you superior officer(s)

one of the major milestones in any accountancy carrier you choose is getting certified , weather it was for Auditing ,financial analysis ,managerial accounting or any other accountancy certificate you may choose
