On Monday 15 minutes before Briefing starts Guest Relation found the Guest of the Hotel in front of entrance to the Lobby with Heart Attack.

Should she leave the guest and go to briefing with General Manager (the Guest relation or Guest Service Officer is a head of the Briefing). The briefing is only every Monday.

What should she do?

Of course she should take an action to help the guest of the hotel. She can provide some first aid help if she is trained on that while getting the professional help to the scene. She should never leave the person with heart attack before making sure he or she is getting the attention they need.

First, thing that I`m gonna do is to inform my General Manager about the situation at the Lobby so he/she acknowledge why should suppose to be the reason why I am late on meeting. I know he/she will understand the situation.

First things first.first AID saves lives,Guest relation should respond to the immediate call of attention as in  passing the message to any front office personel in the hotel, about his/her delay to the morning Briefing due to the accident occured at the lobby.

Call911 and delegate another member to attend to the patient, then go to the briefing.

At the first instance,''think safety first''.The guest relations officer,should call on the medic line for an alert signal and while having uptomins to his/her briefing time,can attend to the guest by administering C.P.R if been trained on its' applications and rules,thus will help still keep the guest breathing and relaxing until the medic ambulance arrives to move out the guest to the clinic for proper attention to be given,if the guest relations officer ignores the condition of the guest and goes along preparing for the briefing with manager and it happens that the guest dies,both the guest relations officer and the manager will have to suspend their briefing and attend to the scene.

I should ask first to the general manager what I going to do?and take the permission you need to excuse for a little minute,because we need to care first the guest/customer.
