I think the most difficult part when teaching children, is the ability of the teacher to attract their attention. One has to be innovative and ready to bring more examples and answer questions in a simplified manner.

I think teaching a language for children is easy, since they are in the beginning. No need to exert more efforts that would be compulsory if you had to deal with adults learners, who may speak another language different from English.

There are many areas that are hard to tackle the question of teaching English to very young learners. One area of difficulty relates to the ability of young learners to adapt to the L2 form, structure and meaning. The sounds of the target language may seen weird to them and they may also be hard to learn; another hindrance lies in their ability to learn the English grammar and vocabulary, especially when we consider grammar as the backbone of the language and vocabulary as its flesh.

When teach English to the children as a second language we often come across sudden unexpected questions of funniest nature. They try to use a word of their language as an English word or juxtaposed. Sometimes it becomes hard to make them understand in a limited time frame along with routine work.
