Safety training helps in reducing the number of accidents by increasing awareness of safe work practices.
So nobody get hurts.
Consider an example of Smoking.
Its injurious to smoker as well as people around him/her.
A very minor example to understand.
There are companies and factories, dealing with things that a very minor negligence could cause a life, sometimes even on long term.
the training on safety and security it's important maters for staff to keep safety during the accident occurred
There are many considerations for this
1. Humanitarian:- Everybody must be safe and it is their right.
2. Legal:- It is duty of the employer to make sure that anybody entering on premises is aware about safety requirements.
3. Financial:- To avoid accidents injuries and damage to property, thus saving on loss of production, employee tensions, environment damages, legal actions etc.
4. Company reputation: Accidents invite bad name to the company.
5. Retain customers:- Delay in delivery of the product due to incidents may lead to loss of customer base.
6. Improve productivity
People are suffering many diseases consciously or unconsciously. So everyone needs health and safety training for getting higher standard of living.
BECAUSE YOUR SAFETY IS WHAT IS ALL ABOUT FOR YOU AND THE COMPANY
Safety is not a thing that everyone is aware of. Workers have to be informed about the safe procedures and methods for work. For example, when we sit in a car if we are told to wear a seat belt for our safety we know it and then we have to make it a habit by training to wear a seat belt everyday. Likewise, a good safety training inculcates the habit of a good safety procedure. Safe work is not a thing that can be achieved instantaneously we have to repeat the good methods and make a habit of safe work. Training is one of the first step towards a safe and healthy workplace.
So that they are mindful of a duty of care to all who are in the workplace - OHS
Since accidents are spontaneous and unplanned. Therfore to cope with emergency situations it is mandatory that pre - accidental trainings must be given. Accidents can happen at any time so rather on depending upon the help to arrive one must be able to handle the pressure of danger by learning the possible steps to be taken at the time of need.
Health is wealth. Sadly, a vital ingredient of life being neglected by all and sundry in the race. A healthy organization works if the employees are healthy and happy. Fire dirill, health schemes, regular check-ups are all a part of any corporate culture now. Yes it is imperative that all staff receive training inhealht and safety procedures for their work place.
It's legal and moral obligation, if it's not - many employers don't bother about this . Every one knows about it including employers. Because it is legal obligation, so all are forced to comply with HSE not 100% , but in between 50 to 75 %.
If am wrong advice , i will change my view. My humble request to those employers least bother about their employees safety . Think about your own family. Production is must but safety is very IMPORTANT.
