=now() enters the current date and time

=time(h,m,s) will enter e.g.10:10 AM

=timevalue()12:00 PM would be0.5 as it is half a day

 

So C) is the correct answer

 

I like the Control + Shift + : works well, and is a stable consistent time.

In order to enter current time in a worksheet cell, use CTRL+SHIFT+; (semicolon).
