Therefore a marketer must have an art to perceive the customer perspective and skill to plan strategic path to connect with them to achieve organisation objectives. The competence thus attained qualifies them to be marketers who understand marketing.

The most essential thing is to know the needs of the consumer. Exp: you know that there is no any solar system business in the UK and you start a business of solar system taking advantage of absence of compititors but in the end you come to know that there is nowhere power shortage in the UK. So, researching the needs of the consumers is very essential.

Understanding consumer needs and convincing them that your product or service is the best way to satisfy their needs in a way that leaves them happy in order to encourage repeat business. Customer retention is better than customer acquisition.
