My client complains about system being slow for a months time , how to analyze and record a performance of windows server which will help us to improve speed and performance

To Analyze server 2008 r2 performance, download microsoft server performance advisor then install it.....it will run and find all issues in server which is occurring and monitor performance also.

As @sofiane medhkour mentioned you can depened on default windows monitor or i, suggest that you look for one of system tuners software and under performance section you may reach your goal.
