Dear Amirthavalli,

ITIL is different than CCNA or CCNP, but we can say they complete each other in some Organizations which interrest in ITIL & ISO Standards, you can say that ITIL is concerns about Management and putting standards to the IT Department Life Cycle while CCNA is concerns about the Network Technicality.

so its better to take both of them starting with CCNA, but if you only need one then go with CCNA because ITIL without CCNA or P it means nothing.

If you are more interested in getting in the market CCNP is a good way to go and after that if you do CCIE you are one in a some thousand people in the world. That's the best in the industry. You need around 9 months till CCNP and nearly 9 months for CCIE.
