I agree with all the answers. But I relive A chartered Accountant , or a CFA  degree is of much higher value.

To start with - both offer similar subject mix in the first year. A General MBA in finance lays down a foundation for you to work in any industry. An MBA in finance also has many super and sub specializations depending on one's are of interest - eg - core industry Accounting & finance which will prepare you for a career in line function in accounting & finance where the ultimate ambition is to target CFO position.

Other super or sub specialization could relate to project finance, asset finance, investment banking , equity markets, debt markets, asset financing etc or may even relate to taxation.

MBA in Banking & finance would more focus on Banking as a key domain or Industry - and you will study the regulatory and industry practices of the banking industry - with more focused understanding of the banking industry services or products, long term and short term financing, risk management, and such related areas. MBA in banking may also prepare you for separate careers in either commercial or investment banking . The mix of sub or super specialiites will also vary from University to University

No difference but some special emphasis on banking.

MBA Finance is broader term with macroscopic learning

MBA Banking and Finance is bit narrow in details with microscopic learning
