If Someone handed you a pen, and said "Sell me this Pen!" , How would you go about it?

Basically, the emphasis is to identify the4 important selling skills. Here’s the simple sales framework I would use to answer “sell me this pen”. There are exactly four sales skills the interviewer is looking to see in the answer: how you gather information? how you respond to information? how you deliver information? and how you ask for something (closing)? In the context of a PEN. Find out how they last used a pen (gather info) Emphasize the importance of the activity they last used a pen (respond to info) Sell something bigger than a pen, like a state of mind (deliver info)--What they normally use a pen for? Ask for the buy (closing)..Wouldn't you buy one now?

This means you are facing a customer with identified need (The Pen)........... This is in my opinion, a half job done......................... 

Here the sales person has to show his talent. His adapted and innate selling skills will do the rest of the job. It will all depend how will he use the steps of selling skills right from the description of Features & Benefits.................... to the closing statement and the gaining commitment.

It is not possible to express it in words. Demo is required to answer such question, your confidence, communication, body language and gestures are very important.

You will have to have sales skill first and then find out some features in that pen and find out any USP whether it has then make your speech to the customer and the post important thing you should have convincing power that your pen is best pen in the market and after all as Mr.Mohammad said it is pragmatical thing so will to see it.
