Absolutely critical. If the customer does not like your product or service, he or she isn't buying it. Without revenue, your company dies. A customer's money is his voice. That is all that matters.
Its very important in start up as you are starting marketing then this is the way to hear the voice of customer because you will have to survive upon only customer after all. Not only even in start up but every stage of business, customer voice is very important and upon that any strategy will be constructed.

Sir I think it is not only important for start ups but for every level. If u have to survive in the market u have to keep creating promoters. And how successful u are in creating promoters is reflected by the SNPS score. Earlier the popularity of a co was judged on the basis of C-Sat survey. But now it is survey net promoter score which should be a positive figure. And it would be positive only when we listen to the customer and we have a kind voice.
The voice of customers is always important not only in startup. The customer's voice or feedback can boost your income as well as can play a great role to destroy your business :)
