Drawing something on paper needs stability in hands. Children can acquire this stability through frequent practice of drawing lines, coloring and drawing things of their own choice without keeping a standard in mind. This make their hand movement stable and in control. Now is the time to give them a simple sample and ask them to draw it in your supervision. Child will need your constant support and guidance to accomplish the task. A few week practice can enable the child to draw something at his own.
First ask them to copy on their own style a simple and many drawings, it is the best way my students had taught well
