It is a good investment to retain staff and groom them to play a role in leading an organization. Assuming they have the specialized skills for the job, they should have training in diversity/sensitivity and HR functions at a basic level, especially if they will be hiring future staff.
yes I do think so
The training will be about
- How to deal with problems and to find smart solutions about it .
- Coopration between teams and to handle the work smooth and easy.
Any company has own values, organisational culture and principles. They are explicit and/or implicit.
I would say Leadership training starts here: do you want your employees to follow your values and principles and live the culture you want as employer. If yes, invest in Leadership training. If no, don't be surprised people behave in very different way.
On the other hand I worked with companies which had fantastic values on walls and broke them everyt single moment in their daily operations. So, Leadership training is useless if leaders don't walk their talk. It will only create more frustration among employees.
And this companies are usual reluctant on investing in Leadership training.
As for the content, I believe in tailored Leadership courses, that answer to above issues.
sure they should, and i recommend yearly communication skills training for staff
First, there are few employers have the interest or leadership training or staff training and knead considerations that training on the company's cost
The courses that are candidates for training is ((modern leadership - communication - knowing the value of time)
Definitely, employers should be involved in the leadership training of staffs, it will make the employers more approachable to their staffs and which will build a strong communication channel between them.
Employee should always understand the Skills of the Employees. If the employee is lacking in some skills that must be upgraded via some trainings to add value.
They should get involved if they have the interest and the management saw them as a future leader. this is why some companies have some programs like Future young leaders to equip them with basic management skills. training type are based on the career path that has been built by the management accompanied with employee strength
No, they should looking for type of training just solve the problems and create change
