Is Photoshop more difficult to learn than Illustrator?

Don't ever use the word Difficult, You're the one who can make things easy or difficult by the way you're looking and thinking with.
You can learn about both of them, Then choose what you feel that it will be your best choice, And what you really liked.

I like illustrator more ...
but photoshop is easy too ...
actually photoshop is way too easy ...
you have to study both and by the way ...
if you masters illustrator all will envy you !! cuse its harder than mastering photoshop (^_^) knowing both is awesome !! you will feel how great when you masters both ...
you will use them both or just one program according to the design you wish to create (^_-)

nope nothing is difficult actually its better to focus on one of them cause using each one has its own properties and for me using them both and having the knowledge is something great

No not really, always the first step is the hardest one then it will become easy.
Photoshop used for photo editing and Illustrator used for vector drawing.

i hate using it with all the layers and stuff.
Illustrator you feel its clean and more relaxing :P

Photoshop is way easier to learn that Illustrator

Initially I loved illustrator to photoshop because i lacked deeper understanding to layers and that made photoshop too difficult but now with much knowledge i even appreciate it to illustrator.

well i think that their both at the same level of difficulty, so there is no need to compare between them because the level of difficulty in any program could be diffrent from one person to another person like for example some people can find photoshop is easier while other could find illustrator is easier and so on and forth :)

Nooo, its easy,, most similar software to illustrator is Photoshop, but the pen tool work and all very smooth than the photoshop ;) Try you can..
