There is a lot of certification in IT field. Do they really worth over academic education?

Actually academic education taught us the fundamental of our course with a lots of theory and less of practical. By those academic education we gain a strong basic but at todays world it is more important to have enough practical knowledge which could't taught by our academy due to theory rich courses. so if u wanna be an expert n wanna get a good job at IT field u must take some professional courses.
