Hello Riazz,
It all depends what the organisation is selling. Sometimes is it is worth it to go to a trade fair as a stand alone with some catalogues and business cards and meet your target group who is there with a booth. I have to add that the trade fairs are fairly expensive way of advertising the company products and quite difficult to measure its efficiency, it is a cost to marketing that may translate into sales or not, and if there is sales generation, it is quite tricky to tell if this was because of the fair. The easiest way, would be to make the after trade analysis based on the business cards received, if any orders followed. The good way of advertising companies events are conferences, university event etc. as they are smaller and cheaper to organise and easier to measure the results of such an event. I am speaking from my experience in the Gas&Oil market, with a product as: Gas Installations, Gas Supply, Services around Oil&Gas.
I hope it helps ;)
Best wishes,Kasia
Conducting events is a way of letting the consumers aware of the companies prodcuts/services. Although it might not have a direct imapct on sales growth it is a great tool to create awareness. Events also act as a motivational tool for consumers & clients and thereby increase the brand value of the company.
Ya conducting events might not fetch u immediate results but will give u mileage in long run in terms of brand building exercise..
It also gives us opportunity to reach t those customers whom we generally cant reach most of the times with normal modes.
When you conduct events you give an opportunity for other companies to promote themselves. In my experience It also boost your reach to the public too. It is good to have a space/stall for yourself where you can market your catalogues / brochures etc.
Sales for organisation and anything related to sales requires marketing strategy and planning in any possible way depending on the nature of the organisation. Conducting an event whether standalone or cumulative creates a huge impact to prospective target of the sales.
However, there's a lot to consider in conducting an event to make it appear more enticing, suffice, precise and realistic. Your goal for the said event should imply clearly it's message, purpose, benefits and aims and not merely just showing off.
You'll get benefited if you know exactly your target and be able to comprehend with honesty and sincerity in reaching out.
Wrap with a smile,
Maria
It is one of the methods now a days companies are using to spread message about its products, services or overall image to its customers, clients, suppliers or other interested members. The point of conducting events is to promote and make the target audience think favorably about the company and its offering.
If done right it can boost the sales figures.
yes but undirect way and it must be concidered to check if it will improve the sales or not.
yes it does, this is a medium of advertising and enlightening clients and customers about product and services
Organizing conferences and events is one of the exciting and innovative ways to convey communication messages to institutions and organizations, whether for the purpose of launching a new product or service or for the purpose of collecting donations and presenting achievements.
Events is an ideal venue for promotion. This is indeed impacting for a sales team. Organizers need to prioritize branding as a marketing strategy.
Conducting events as one of my skills have a very good impact on the Company's business, since if i have made a very good presentation that the customers likes or love it will eventually attract the customer by giving recommendation to friends families and collegues in their organization, which will result with more bookings and hence good business.
