Virginia Woolf's The Waves and To the Lighthouse........... John Milton's Paradise Lost............making sense of poetry. Read T. S Eliot's novels. Read about the Civil rights movement and its impact on the American South's literature. Finally, read John Keats's poems and try to come up with fruitful analysis. :)
